FAQ
You have questions and I have answers!
Take a moment and read below a list of my most frequently asked questions. Feel free to reach out to me if you have more.
How long have you been a photographer?
I was first introduced to photography when I was in high school and loved it! In 2014 I took a humanitarian trip to Uganda, Africa where I was introduced to manual mode and the art of Lightroom. After returning I took some college classes and shot my first wedding in 2016!
How many images do you include?
Each session varies in the amount of photos I give. However, I love to give my you a large selection of images to choose from. I am here to capture memories for you that you can have and love forever.
What is your turnaround time?
For a normal session my turnaround time is about 2 weeks. For weddings it takes about
6-8 weeks. It is important to me to make sure all your images are perfect.
How do payment schedules work?
I require a $500 deposit upfront to secure your wedding day. After that I allow 2 payments of 50%. We will determine these dates upon signing the contract, but all payment will be due 1 week prior to your wedding day/session.
Do you charge a travel fee?
I do not charge a travel fee. All travel fees are taken into account and have already been added to the wedding package price.
What if we have to cancel our wedding?
If you have already put a deposit down and need to cancel your wedding for any reason, the deposit is legally non-refundable. Any payments that have been made after the deposit may be refunded.
What happens if you can't make it to our wedding?
Heaven forbid this would ever happen, but in the case of emergency where I would not be able to make it to your wedding I would do everything in my power to find a replacement photographer with my similar style - even though I am not legally required to do so. If I am unable to make it to your wedding all money that has been paid (including the deposit) will be refunded to you.
Do you give RAW unedited images?
I strongly believe that editing is half the magic - if not more! Therefore I do not give out RAW images.
What happens if there is bad weather?
I believe in taking what weather comes because magic can be made in any climate! However if there is a chance that weather will be so poor that we will have an awful time or equipment could be ruined, we can reschedule!
